Following the recent events of COVID-19 touring has been put on hold. However, tours are once again available following the Government Guidelines. Working in partnership with visitscotland.com I'm pleased to say that I have a Good to Go certificate. Well, what exactly does that mean. It means that I can safely take out on tour a family as I have a clear plastic dividing screen between myself only in the front of the vehicle and yourselves safely in the rear of the vehicle. Also, for the foreseeable future I will retain your name and contact number as part of the Government 'track and trace' system. Social Distancing will be observed when out of the vehicle. A small bottle of hand sanitizer will be given to each guest at the start of the tour and for you to take home at the end. Face coverings will be needed whilst in the vehicle. Safely we will tour the Scottish Borders looking for wildlife and stopping frequently to take in the beautiful scenery at those stops it's up to you whether you want to take off the face covering or not. Well what has been happening whilst we have not been touring. A highlight of the Summer is the return of the Ospreys to the Scottish Borders from North Africa or Southern Europe. Some fortunate people have watched them catch a fish from the lochs and reservoirs that dot the Southern Uplands. Cuckoos have been heard this spring setting up their territory as they arrived from overseas. Well thats it for the time being and I hope to see you soon. In the meantime look out for the things we miss sometimes, due to our busy lives.
